What changed from last year
We advanced. We listened to our customers. We built on SmartWall ONE™ and launched CORE, our cloud-based availability protection platform. Together, they form a complete defense strategy across Layers 3 through 7. We are building on that foundation with traffic analytics and zero trust access control, giving customers deeper visibility and greater control at the network edge. The result is stronger automation, broader protection, and more value without the usual trade-offs like added complexity, performance hits, or hardware sprawl. Simply put, we have made our solutions more powerful and more complete.
The SPARK Matrix analysts took notice. We earned top scores in both technology excellence and customer impact. That recognition reflects our continued innovation and real-world results. It also helps when your technology is trusted by others in the Leader quadrant. Akamai’s on-prem DDoS solution runs on Corero, which means we are not just leading on our own—we are helping others lead too.
That is a serious proof point.
Clearing the air on cloud
We continue to see strong value in on-premises protection. In fact, current trends show many organizations are shifting back, repatriating workloads where it makes sense for performance, security, and control.
That said, cloud is important. That is why we work alongside partners like Akamai, whose on-prem DDoS offering is powered by our technology. It reflects a shared belief in precision and speed.
