Juniper and Corero have been partners since 2018 with the shared goal of integrating real-time DDoS protection directly into network infrastructure. The collaboration resulted in Corero Edge Protection, integrated with Juniper’s robust routing platforms, the MX and PTX series, to deliver seamless, scalable, and automated protection using existing infrastructure.

Our native integration with Juniper MX and PTX routers uses edge routers as the enforcement point to defend against DDoS attacks with precision. The routers send packet samples to our appliance for analysis. When we detect an attack, we Juniper’s NETCONF to apply precision filters to block the malicious traffic. Unlike other vendors, we do not require a network re-architecture or latency-laden scrubbing centers for Juniper customers to be protected.

We provide native integration with Juniper MX/PTX routers via NETCONF to for precision defense. This integration transforms Juniper’s platforms into intelligent, self-defending infrastructure capable of protecting against complex and high-volume threats without sacrificing performance.

Our time to mitigation for DDoS attacks went from 6 minutes with previous solutions, to 18 seconds with Corero. This ensures that our customers experience uninterrupted services, even during attacks.
