UK ACADEMIES CONTINUE TO CHOOSE CORERO RESOURCE
Leading education software specialist, Corero PLC, announces the signing of contracts this month with The Dixons Allerton Academy and Dixons City Academy to use Resource Financial software to handle their accounting and financial requirements. This brings the number of UK Academies that have signed up to Resource this year, to ten.
These range from Sunderland’s Castle View Enterprise Academy in the North and The Bulwell Academy and Nottingham University Samworth Academy in the Midlands; Milton Keynes Academy and London’s City Academy Hackney (which is sponsored by KPMG and The City of London Corporation) to Wiltshire’s Wellington Academy; and The Littlehampton Academy and Sir Robert Woodard Academy in West Sussex.
Commenting, Pankaj Tanna, Corero’s Director of Account Services, says: “One of the key ideas behind the academies is for education to benefit from commercial input such as sponsorship and staff with top-level management experience, to help ensure they run as efficiently as possible. So the choice of the right financial system is crucial.

The Resource Web Portal handles all web requisitioning and approvals with full budget checking including, for example, automatically cross-referencing and charging orders for textbooks to the correct Key Stage status and code.
