Corero Network Security's Threat Update Service is an automated protection update service that provides Corero IPS customers with timely, proactive protection from the latest security threats. Threat Update Service provides automated updates, along with access to Corero's Knowledge Base. Customers will feel confident that their network is protected.

Threat Update Service is an integral part of the network intrusion prevention system solution. The subscription service delivers frequent protection pack updates and security advisories created by the company's Active Response Team. Protection packs typically include data about badly behaving IP addresses collected from thousands of sensors throughout the Internet, as well as updated vulnerability and attack signatures to provide the most current, effective network threat monitoring. Security advisories, an important aspect of the Threat Update Service, inform customers of newly discovered threats, recommend any actions that might be necessary to obtain protection against the threat, or assure customers that they've already received true zero-day protection, and need take no further action.
