As CEO, Marty Meyer brings a proven record of success in high tech company management, reflecting a unique blend of expertise and experience in both technology and finance. Under Meyer's leadership, Corero has experienced solid growth, introduced significant new products and services, expanded its international presence, and added some of the best technology and business/sales people in the country to ensure excellence and success.
Most recently, he served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer at ExtendMedia, where he negotiated contracts with major North American telecommunications companies AT&T, Bell Canada and Verizon, and entertainment giants, such as Disney, Paramount and NBC. At ExtendMedia, Meyer was directly responsible for driving PCI and PA-DSS compliance for the company's software platform and data center SaaS application deployments. He has more than 25 years' experience in finance, engineering and operations with both fast-growing start-ups and established technology companies. Previous experience includes COO and CFO positions at Bowstreet, Ucentric Systems, Equipe Communications, Sightpath and Xedia.

He holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and an MBA from Babson College.
As President International, Andre Stewart, who is based in London, is responsible for the company's rapidly growing business presence and success in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. He has a demonstrable history of outstanding success in more than 10 years' experience in network security, most recently as VP of Worldwide Sales at Fortinet, where he grew sales from $3 million to more than $100 million. He formerly held positions of VP EMEA sales and managing director of European operations at Fortinet.
Before joining Fortinet, Stewart was a regional director for NetScreen Technologies, which was subsequently acquired by Juniper Networks. Prior to that, he was a partner with Agora M&A, focused on cross-border M&A in the data communication market, and spent two years with European IT-focused executive search firm, INS Group. He is fluent in four languages and holds a bachelor's degree in political sciences and languages from Kingston University, England.

As CTO, Barry Spinney, leads the company's development of new products and enhanced services around its Core Platform technology. Spinney is a visionary and innovator in networking technology and IT security. His 25-year career is marked by outstanding achievement: At Digital Equipment Corp. (DEC), he was the inventor, architect and engineering manager for the GIGAswitch product, a high-performance packet-switching platform that was cited as one of the top innovations of its time. The holder of more than 10 patents, Spinney developed and managed the FDDI (Fiber Distributed Data Interface) chipset, a technology used for LANs based on fiber optics, and VNSwitch, a product that bridges LANs of different media (copper and fiber, and using different LAN protocols) into a contiguous LAN or LANs.
At his last company, FORE Systems, he managed the engineering team responsible for the development of the ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode, a switching technique for telecommunication networks) card for the ES-3810 LAN switch. He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Waterloo and MSEE from the University of Toronto.
As CMO, Aimee Rhodes leads the company's global marketing strategies, including branding and lead generation initiatives. With more than 20 years of expertise in global communications and network security, Rhodes has a track record for building high tech brands through differentiated product value propositions. Prior to joining Corero, Rhodes was VP of Marketing at Xceedium, a network access control vendor and, before that, AlgoSec, a provider of firewall management solutions. Previously, she also served as VP of Corporate Communications at Whale Communications, where her efforts driving marketing and corporate communications caught the attention of Microsoft, which acquired the company in 2006.
A former foreign correspondent with Reuters, radio reporter/editor (head of Israel Radio English News Service), and TV reporter, she holds an MA in Journalism and BA in Political Science from Michigan State University.

As VP of Engineering, Paul Jones is responsible for Corero's engineering product development operations, assuring delivery and continued excellence and quality assurance of Corero's industry leading network security products. He has a strong track record and continuous commitment to working closely with customer support and professional services groups to assist customers with mission-critical deployments.
Jones has an outstanding record of more than 30 years' design and senior management experience in advanced hardware and software system development in the computer, networking and telecommunication industries. He previously managed engineering at Sonus Networks (VoIP), Indus River Networks (managed VPN), Stratus Computer (fault tolerant computing) and Stellar Computer (graphics supercomputing). Jones holds a BA degree in English Literature from Brown University and an MS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
AS VP of Technology Solutions and Services, Steve Turner is responsible for the delivery of comprehensive, dedicated services to ensure the full value of Corero's leading network security solutions is achieved in each customer's unique environment. Turner calls upon his expertise and 20 years' international experience in the IT networking and security market in the realization of Corero's core tenet of the overriding value of outstanding, continuing service engagement in trusted partnership with customers.
At Fortinet, prior to joining Corero, he was initially responsible for shaping the company's high-end appliance strategy. Subsequently, as VP Customer Services and Support worldwide, he coalesced geographically disparate customer services infrastructures into a strategic organization.
Turner holds several patents in wireless mesh networking technologies and was founder and CEO of FilFree Networks, a wireless start-up company. Prior to that, he ran a specialized consulting company providing network and security services to customers such as Boeing, SWIFT and Equant, for whom he architected and deployed a number of secure global service delivery networks. Turner started his career writing software for a real-time operating system and applications for the physical testing of entire assemblies for the aerospace industry. His technology background includes tenures with Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) in France and Cisco Systems in Belgium, during which time he became one of the early CCIEs. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Portsmouth University, England.

As VP North America, Steve Leahy is responsible for growing Corero's sales organization and sales strategy, both channel and direct. He brings extensive global sales management experience in the IT industry, having been instrumental in leading the worldwide sales and market positioning of several start-ups, where he built direct and indirect selling teams. A successful sales strategist who has demonstrated the ability to build and lead high-productivity teams, Leahy joins Corero from StillSecure, where he was VP of Worldwide sales. While at StillSecure, he successfully transformed sales to an almost entirely channel-centric model.
Leahy has held comparable positions at Accurev, Empirix, Fricitonless Commerce and Calico Commerce, as well as sales and sales management positions at Informix, PureAtria, Sun Microsystems and Digital Equipment Corp. He holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine.

In his role as VP Operations, Joao Melo assures Corero outperforms its competition in terms of quality, service level agreement (manufacturing) and cost of goods. Melo has been providing substantial operational value to the company's business for over 10 years, continuously improving value to the customer through streamlining corporate processes and focusing on their needs. He has more than 20 years of creative problem-solving experience in many business areas, including supply chain management, manufacturing, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, sales management, product marketing, product development and engineering.
Prior to joining the company, Melo was a senior consulting engineer, delivering product design consulting services for Bleck Design Group. He also held a position as a mechanical engineer for Bose Corp. He holds a BSME from Boston University and MBA from Babson College with a focus on managing technology-intensive enterprises.
