Mark Robertson
Director of Financial Markets
Mark joined Corero in 2006 following the acquisition of Blue Curve Limited. He founded Blue Curve in 1995, creating a respected software consulting firm specialising in the use of Internet technology within the Financial Markets.
In 1999, Blue Curve expanded in software products with the launch of their Research.Net software, a complete platform for producing and distributing financial research. Mark raised venture capital funding in 2001 to further expand the software product business, which was now branded Blue Curve. At the same time the consulting business was spun out into another company called Appareo Limited, where Mark served as a non-exec Director, helping to sell the business to Sysmed in 2003.
Blue Curve has become the global leader in research management solutions and continues to expand into other areas of complex document management within the financial markets.
Prior to founding Blue Curve, Mark was Associate Director in charge of global research technology at SBC Warburg. Mark also spent some years as an Equity Derivatives trader at First Interstate Capital Markets.
